Gonzaga was switching online educational platforms onto Canvas, as a result there was a learning curve for a lot of faculty members, so I added a subset of pages that provide information about Canvas, resources, tools and workshops to ease the transition to Canvas platform.

The Director of the Instructional Design and Delivery Team throughout his career wrote several education related blogs and wanted to publish several of them on the public IDD site. I created a special page under the site that gets continuously updated with new blogs, and vlogs related to Education and leveraging different technologies into instructional design.
The Provost is the umbrella department I work under at Gonzaga. There are 3 other departments that report to the Provost. Once IDD's new site launched, The Center for Student Academic Success and Center for Teaching Advising departments also wanted their sites redesigned in similar styles. So I designed and developed CTA's site after I built out CSAS's sites along with their subsequent pages for both the Public Facing Gonzaga site and Gonzaga's internal portal.

Once IDD's new site launched, The Center for Student Academic Success and Center for Teaching Advising departments also wanted their sites redesigned in similar styles. So I designed and developed CSAS's site first along with their subsequent pages for both the Public Facing Gonzaga site and Gonzaga's internal portal.
On the public facing Instructional Design and Delivery site, I designed and developed the subsequent pages one of them was the Instructional Technology page which is the team's portfolio page that demonstrates samples of our work to show instructors what our team is capable of and give them ideas of what they might be wanting for their classes.
When I started working for Gonzaga, the IDD team had an existing page on the internal Gonzaga site, but it was buried in a location that didn't make sense and the look and feel of the site did not reflect the creativity of the team or what we were capable of. Due to my ability to develop websites, I redesigned the entire IDD site, and also brainstormed with the Gonzaga web development team with where would be a more appropriate location for the site. I then designed and developed all subsequent pages as well as planned the navigation structure of the site. On the public facing Gonzaga site, there was no IDD site, so I created one and also designed and developed the subsequent pages.
My former co-worker from Pyrotek, Heidi Mitchell, and her husband Scott Mitchell are starting up a doggy daycare business and they needed some marketing materials. Teaming up with other former colleagues from the Marketing Department at Pyrotek, we worked on Heidi's marketing strategies. My role was to design and code their website using WordPress so that Heidi or Scott can finish filling out the content and autonomously make updates.
I redesigned Pyrotek's Battery Materials webpage to make it more engaging and informative.
Redesigned Pyrotek's About Page to include Pyrotek's new strapline and mission and vision statement while also giving the page a clean structured design and layout to reduce the bounce rates on the page.
Pyrotek has created many innovative products that are patented, but they didn't have a page on their site that listed these patents. I designed and coded a new page on the site to list these patents to help the legal team protect Pyrotek's intellectual property.
I redesigned and recoded the Pyrotek Careers page to add engagement as well as meaningful information about Pyrotek so the candidate could better understand what the company is about.
Not only did I create a new design for the Pyrotek.com homepage, but I led the homepage planning team in strategizing regular updates to the homepage and subsequent pages, resulting in higher user engagements, lowered bounce rates and elevated internal customer satisfaction. Once the English version became I success, I helped the Chinese marketing by creating the Chinese version of the homepage and led their online marketing strategy.
Created an engaging new template using Marketo for our Email Marketing Campaigns designed to look like the pyrotek.com site.

Gruber Painting is a well established Residential Painting Company in the South Bay & Peninsula, but for the longest time they had no web presence. The first stage of the project was to design and create a simple splash page with the company contact information while the website was being developed. The second stage of the project was to design the look and feel of the site as well as the usability. I designed the site to have a responsive layout so it could be viewable on different browsers. For the final stage of the project, I programmed the site using php to make it database driven and for the contact forms. I used a combination of HTML, CSS, to create the responsive layout, and jQuery and JavaScript on the projects page for the interactivity.
I redeveloped the ecommerce website for Elite Recruiting Films. They were a small startup company that specialized in sports recruiting and highlight videos for athletes looking to get recruited or applying for sports scholarships. Their original site used an online website template with a ton of unnecessary and messy code. I improved the usability of the site by consolidating redundant pages and adding a PHP contact form as a way to filter the user feedback and to better assess the needs of the clients. I also used best practice methods to clean up the HTML and CSS code.
I coded the website and produced the marketing materials for Pacific Hotels. They own a chain of hotels in the Bay Area.

The Security Department had two events they needed retractable banners for, "Meet Us Before You Need Us" a meet and greet event that gave students, staff and faculty to get to build rapport with the Campus Security Team so that if anyone were to need their assistance, people can feel comfortable reaching out. The other banner was designed for an upcoming self-defense class that Campus Security was hosting, designed to empower students on how to safely defend themselves, if put in a situation where self-defense was necessary.
Pyrotek's Battery Materials department was participating in a routine tradeshow and wanted to give their booth a revamped look.
Most of my job entailed creating holograms, digital, and web assets, but occasionally I would design a few back wall graphics when my colleagues who normally designed them were unavailable.

One of the most successful ways that Heat and Control market their products is through Tradeshows and PMMI is one of the largest Tradeshows that market packaging and product handling equipment. I worked with the rest of marketing team to completely revamp the booth for PMMI in 2013. I played a major role in the development of the new booth by designing and producing all of the graphics that were used. The biggest challenge I faced was having to work with photos that were not large enough to expand to the extremely large scales the booth demanded. Using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator, I came up with various creative methods and design strategies to make the files work. The end result was that the CEO of Heat and Control commented that it was one of the best-looking booths he had seen in a long time.

Gonzaga University is in the middle of a transition from Blackboard to Canvas as the means of creating and storing courses and curriculum. A large part of IDD's role has been the ambassadors for canvas by supporting faculty and creating workshops for faculty who are needing to learn the new program. As I work for IDD, I've been in charge of marketing these resources that we provide the faculty and students, including these flyers and postcards we've posted and passed around campus.

As a result, the Santa Clara First Baptist church hired a well-informed Sr. Pastor, who was the perfect fit for the church and the congregation.
In order to reflect Heat and Control's continued innovative food processing and packaging equipment, the marketing materials needed a more innovative design and rebrand.
